Yet resilience is not simply the ability to “bounce back”—it is the process of adapting, finding strength, developing healthy coping strategies, and continuing to move forward in the midst of adversity. In this workshop, counselors will learn practical, strengths-based strategies and therapeutic interventions designed to help clients recognize existing sources of strength, develop resilience-building skills, and cultivate hope during challenging seasons. Emphasis will be placed on helping clients move from simply surviving their circumstances to facing life’s battles with greater resilience.

Learning Objectives:

Identify key factors that contribute to the development of resilience in clients experiencing adversity, trauma, grief, or significant life stressors.

Assess clients’ existing strengths, coping resources, protective factors, and areas of vulnerability to develop a more comprehensive understanding of their resilience needs.

Apply evidence-based strategies and therapeutic interventions that help clients build coping skills, strengthen support systems, and cultivate hope and resilience in the face of adversity.

Cord of Three Counseling Services, Inc. has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7971. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Cord of Three Counseling Services, Inc. is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

-----

Bio Information: Stacie C.
