Description: This training offers an introduction to equine experiential learning. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what equine experiential learning is, how it works, and why horses serve as powerful partners in emotional, relational, and spiritual growth. Through hands-on interaction and participation in one to two guided interventions, participants will directly experience the reflective and regulating nature of horses. Biblical principles and Christ-centered themes are woven throughout the training to highlight how trust, connection, restoration, and renewal are reflected in the horse–human relationship. From this training, participants will have an understanding of how to incorporate equine-assisted learning into their therapeutic or supportive work.
Objectives:
-
Define equine experiential learning in simple, practical terms.
-
Identify the core components of an equine experiential learning session.
- Understand how Christ-centered concepts and biblical principles can be integrated into equine-based sessions.
If you do not attend the training, the materials from the training will not be able to be provided to you.
